stress. Discussed in a later module. Enjoy your visit and, have a nice day.

my immediate left and your immediate right is a list of "Collectables" which can
be integrated into your class activities, by having the student collect the
items and then write a brief summary about the item, and show how it relates to
the subject. Hope you enjoyed your visit, have a nice day.

topics, see "Journal Writing" in the table below. We do accept tax deductable
voluntary donations. Enjoy your visit, and have a nice day.
Learning Styles
This week's tips will be on learning styles. This is one of the most important
aspects of teaching. Once you have determined the learning style of your
student, it makes the learning process easy, because, you will be able to
properly select your resource materials, and learning tools. In the Training
Module below, click on Module 2 for the Power Point Presentation of the learning
styles. We do accept voluntary donations. Please click on the donation button
below, make a donation. Enjoy your visit.
Methods
We covered the use of tools in Home Schooling. In Module 1 we covered general
information about home schooling. In module 2 we identified the learning styles.

Motivation 1
Greetings: We are sure that at some time in your child's school history, he
lacked the motivation to learn. Some may say, let them follow whatever motivates
them as long as they don't hurt anyone. Remember things don't get better by
following natural inclinations; and it is the responsibility of the parent to
guide and help the child develop a sense of right and wrong, whether home
schooling or public schooling. This module is the introduction and the first in
a series of modules identifying the lack of motivation and what can be done to
improve it. Enjoy your visit and have a nice day.
Motivation 2
Greetings. This module is a follow up to our previous module. There we talked
about the student's lack of motivation to learn. There about eight reasons for
the lack of motivation. 1. Lessons do not make sense. 2. Learning tasks are
contrary to personal goals. 3. Fear of failure, and, 4. Mental block. Happiness
is the root of motivation. If the student has a keen desire to learn, then the
lack of motivation is not present. The next module will list the last four
reasons. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, click on the
"contact us" link and e-mail us. Have a nice day.
Motivation 3
First of all let us apologize for the delay in bringing you the last four
reasons for the lack of motivation. We will continue: 5. Use of drugs or
alcohol. 6. Serious physical needs not met. 7. Lack of trust and, 8.
Overstimulation. Suggestions to solve these problems: Listen more than talk.
Help student work throuth the problem. Help internalize and plan reasonable
attainable goals. . Show appreciation and, consider possible learning disorders.
The 2007-2008 school year has ended. The next modules will address how to set up
your home school program for the new school year . Have a nice day.

next school year. In the Training Topic, click on Module 4, which is the first
part of getting set up. In module five, we will discuss record keeping. Our web
page is loaded with extra resources for your use. Donations are always

Record Keeping
Greetings! This is the last part of a series in helping you get your program off
to a good start. This module 5 will discuss record keeping. In the Training
section of this page, click on module 5. Once you set up the system, it will be
useful for each additional school year. We do accept donations which are tax
deductable. We thank you for visiting us and we hope you will visit often. Have
a nice day.
Something New
Greetings: We have a couple of new links: Movie of the Week, and The Daily
Treasure Hunt. We hope you find these new links useful. To relieve some of the
stress of home schooling, you might check out our web site for tools to get your
program set up and organized. If you share your program with another family,
each parent who takes a subject might decorate one room in their home for the
subject they choose to teach. The families get together each day in a different
home environment for school. Minimizes bordum and isolation. Enjoy your visit
and, have a nice day.
Tip #2
Greetings: We have a few new links listed below. Hope you find them helpful. One
of the advantages of homeschooling is the ability to bypass the norm. By using
our resources, you can design your curricula and use approaches that are best
for your student. Including work skills in your program can teach general
skills, important for future employment. Work skills can include caring for
personal needs, dealing with people, working with ideas, and handling material.
It also helps the student to apply knowledge, and develop good working
attitudes. Until next time, have a super good day.
Use of Tools
Greetings! This week we will introduce you to the organization of your home
school program. The following links are on the page below me: Manual, Suggested
School Calendar, Forms, curriculum guides and a suggested daily schedule. The
manual explains each form and how to use it. All are printable. We do accept
donations, click on the "Donate button below, and make a donation. Thank you and
enjoy your visit.
